Our 3 evening dinners were superb. The staff are friendly. Leanne as a host is delightful and wonderful to chat to. First time that I have seen the area so green and all the rivers full and flowing. We did our own day trip into the park. We’re fortunate enough to see a beautiful leopard. That was my highlight.

Leanne and all of the staff were... read more so hospitable - and were always around to answer questions or give suggestions without ever being intrusive. The early morning safari trip into Kruger with Elvis was amazing - topped off by watching a leopard dozing in a tree just a few feet above us.

The breakfasts and dinners served on the outside patio were delicious and the lodges were extremely comfortable and well appointed - but the very best thing about Kambaku is its riverside location and views. Sitting with a pair of binoculars and an early morning coffee on the decking, watching a variety of animals and birds at close hand was a fabulous experience and we watched kingfishers dance from our incredibly comfortable bed.

Leanne’s hospitality is great. Service is run uniquely here with any orders or requests being Whatsapp’d through.
Sunset on the deck is just beautiful. Fires are set at each room/‘villa’ each evening and meals are served privately on each veranda.

It was also a nice surprise, that because there is no dining room on site, we got to eat dinner on our own porch brought to us by the staff. Lovely evening with laterns lit and fire blazing.
