Kruger Park does not condone guests standing in the Safari Vehicles.

"Visitors must remain in their vehicles unless in a designated area. Remember that no part of the body may protrude from a window or sunroof or any other part of the vehicle. Vehicle doors should be closed at all times." SANParks - Vital Information

Respect The Silence

No music please , the bush provides the songs, in fact a symphony.

Please also keep noise down to respect wildlife as well as other guests who have come to relax, unwind & enjoy the Park.

Listen to Your Guide

For your own safety: remain in the vehicle, keep all limbs in the vehicle and listen to the guide at all times.

DO NOT FEAR, we are taking precaution.

Respect Others

Thank you for respecting others on the vehicle.

Quietness is kind to fellow guests and other visitors.

Remember that we all share different interests. Some guests may be interested in small details and others may not. Please still enjoy the bush together.

DO NOT feed or bother the animals

Animals inside the Kruger Park are WILD! Please do not associate the Kruger Park with a zoo.

"By feeding any wildlife, you are signing their death warrant; as they might become aggressive towards humans, resulting in them being put down." SANParks - Vital Information

Do not tease the animals, pet call or make loud sounds. Wild animals can be unpredictable when frightened.

Sunscreen (if you have forgotten we have in the gift shop)

Water - we have bottles in your suite and filter water dispensers on the verandas.

Hand warmer - You can plug this in 15 mins before you leave.

Safari Clothing Ticklist

A jacket (summer or winter) - you will be driving along the N4 for about 15mins before you reach the gate.

A cap or hat. (if you have forgotten we have in the gift shop.

Beanie & scarf

Wear many layers as it heats up through the morning.

Jackets are essential in winter.

About Mosquitos

We are in a low-risk zone - this is not to negate mosquito & malaria risk, but we give some relief with this.
We spray an anti-mosquito deterrent twice a year.
Suites are equipped with anti-mosquito screens.
Suites are have mosquito repellents.

Our Advice

DO NOT fear.
Keep windows & mosquito screens at dusk & dawn
Spray provided repellent at dusk & dawn.
Contact us if you have questions.
We also recommend that you consult your doctor should you feel worried at any point.

Consumption of Alcohol

Consumption of alcohol by day visitors is prohibited.

Check ins after 18:00 needs to be arranged for and are subject to a charge of R400 per hour as staff need to be on duty after hours.

Children from the age of 8 are welcome but charged at 50 % of the room rate when using existing beds or if an extra bed is required. Extra bed needs to be on request and confirmed by management. Should guests arrive with under-age children they will be charged at a full adult price.

50 % Due on presentation of invoice and the balance is due up to 4 weeks before arrival, then 4 weeks before arrival the full amount is payable.

We have a 50% cancellation policy if cancelled 90 days before arrival, 70% if cancelled 60 days before arrival and 100% if cancelled in the 30 day period before due date.

Extras are not calculated automatically in the total cost and will have to be paid for separately during your stay at Kambaku River Lodge.

Pets are not allowed

EFTs or secure Credit Card facilities.
Masterpass
We accept Visa & MasterCard
50 % deposit payable on confirmation of booking.
The full balance (100 %) is payable 30 days before arrival.
Extras charged for at the lodge.
Booking 30 days or less before arrival: full payment is due.
